Have you ever just looked around and thought to yourself, "I just love my life!" That's what my life is like - just about every day. I often feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Not just because I have Marc but also because I have the two most amazing parents in the world. I have the kind of parents who would never deny me anything. And they encourage me to do everything. Between the three of them, I have the most stable support system anyone could ever ask for. They are there for me when I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm challenged, and even when they're too busy for me. To me, that's what family is. And then there are my friends, like Pippa, Sandy, Marnie and Debbie Bellan, and my extended family, like Althea, Missy, Mindy, Eden, Jill, Roshelle and Courtnee, Alex and Shawn, Tom W. - the list goes on and on. As for my dad, I have the utmost respect for him. He always taught me by example - not by words. The biggest message he has conveyed to me is, very simply, integrity. I don't know anyone who is more true to his word and himself. I want to be just like him. He is always rational and calm, and has tried to teach me that life isn't worth getting so upset about. Live it right, roll with the punches, and relax and enjoy what you have. And he always practices what he preaches. Quite a noble man, my dad. And now my mom. I can thank my mom for my creativity, my idealistic dreams and my inclination to make the world a perfect place for all. This is why I'm always fighting to make people do the right things. Because she spent time doing the same. Oh, and I can also thank her for my distaste of football (which is pure blasphemy considering I am a Texan). I am very proud of my mom and my dad. They are extremely active in
the Jewish community and have a strong sense of philanthropy. They are
compassionate, caring, and realistic people, and value the importance
of helping other people. I hope I can successfully emulate those traits
throughout Marc's and my life together. I could go on and on and on about this, but I'll let you peruse the rest of the site.
