  My life

Have you ever just looked around and thought to yourself, "I just love my life!" That's what my life is like - just about every day. I often feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Not just because I have Marc but also because I have the two most amazing parents in the world. I have the kind of parents who would never deny me anything. And they encourage me to do everything. Between the three of them, I have the most stable support system anyone could ever ask for. They are there for me when I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm challenged, and even when they're too busy for me. To me, that's what family is. And then there are my friends, like Pippa, Sandy, Marnie and Debbie Bellan, and my extended family, like Althea, Missy, Mindy, Eden, Jill, Roshelle and Courtnee, Alex and Shawn, Tom W. - the list goes on and on.

As for my dad, I have the utmost respect for him. He always taught me by example - not by words. The biggest message he has conveyed to me is, very simply, integrity. I don't know anyone who is more true to his word and himself. I want to be just like him. He is always rational and calm, and has tried to teach me that life isn't worth getting so upset about. Live it right, roll with the punches, and relax and enjoy what you have. And he always practices what he preaches. Quite a noble man, my dad.

And now my mom. I can thank my mom for my creativity, my idealistic dreams and my inclination to make the world a perfect place for all. This is why I'm always fighting to make people do the right things. Because she spent time doing the same. Oh, and I can also thank her for my distaste of football (which is pure blasphemy considering I am a Texan).

I am very proud of my mom and my dad. They are extremely active in the Jewish community and have a strong sense of philanthropy. They are compassionate, caring, and realistic people, and value the importance of helping other people. I hope I can successfully emulate those traits throughout Marc's and my life together.

I could go on and on and on about this, but I'll let you peruse the rest of the site.

Other FAQ's

Are you sure you're from Texas? You don't have an accent.
If there is anything in this world that I am sure of, it's that I'm a Texan. It's in my blood. You know what they say: "You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl."

How did you end up in Denver?
I came here to be with Marc. If it weren't for him, I guarantee you I would be in Texas.

Are you ever going to go back to Texas?
You're kidding with that question, right?

What are you studying in graduate school?
Digital Media Studies

What the heck is that?
Basically it means I make websites, interactive CD-Roms, digital videos, and do back-end database work for the web.

When will you graduate?
Whenever I finish (start) my thesis. (Notice the "never" in the word "whenever?" Just kidding, Dad!)

What are you going to do after you graduate?
I have no idea.
