Friday night services at Congregation Beth El in Missouri City will be at 8pm. If you are in town by then we would love to have you join us! That evening Marc and I will be called to the bimah for the Oyfruf, the traditional Jewish prenuptial blessing. It is a very happy and celebratory occasion, after which Marc and I duck so that we are not injured by all the candy you will be throwing at us! (Um, can we request Starburst Jelly Beans? Yumm!) (Attire: Suit or Business Casual) |

| The Rehearsal Dinner | ||
|
It just wouldn't be a Texan weddin' without barbecue! Saturday night we'll be headin' out to the George Ranch near Rosenberg to toast the bride and groom. The George Ranch was formerly a large working ranch, and is now a living history ranch open daily with a variety of buildings and activities from different periods of history. We will be partying in an old "Lodge Hall" near the main parking lot. If you come with us on the bus, you won't get lost. If you want to come on your own, just follow the trail (Highway 59 South to the Crabb River Road exit and follow the road until you see the ranch entrance on your right). Maps will also be available at the hotel. (Distance from the hotel to the ranch is approximately 30 miles.) The rehearsal dinner is scheduled for 7:00pm. (Attire: Western Casual) |

The Museum of Fine Arts Houston Brazos Bend State Park (If you want to see alligators, this is the place to be!)
Transco Tower Waterfall Tour the Imperial Sugar Factory (If the wind blows just right, you can smell the sweet smell of sugar from my house! Many fond memories of this one!) |

| The Reception | ||
|
You won't have to go very far for the reception! Just walk across a suspended bridge and we'll go inside for a seated dinner and dancing. (You think I'm kidding about the bridge?) This of course is what Marc and I are looking forward to the most. Our nerves will be calm by this time and we'll be having a blast with you! We can't even tell you how excited we are that you will be sharing this special day with us! |
